About Tips

sheTIME Tips showcases practical Tips that facilitate the feminine cycle.

Many women want to share tips about techniques or approaches that facilitate their relationships with themselves and their bodies. Each recommendation is described by or sourced from someone who has actually tried it and found it helpful. We hope that you may find some of them useful too.

Tips are listed under the broad category headings “Cyclical Health”, “Emotional Events” and “Physical Events” for ease of reference, but remember that your mind, body and soul are interconnected. Advice in the “physical” realm, for example about diet, may well have an impact on your emotional state. Some of the tips thus appear under more than one heading.

Although you may understandably be looking for relief from specific problems, we urge you also to take a holistic view: Paying attention to your overall health and mental wellbeing will increase the general strength and flexibility of your body and your mind and make it easier for you to “go with the flow” (‘scuse the pun!)

Please consider suggesting tips that have eased your experience or enlightened you about aspects of your cycle. Your tried and tested tips could really help. Other women quite likely also experience your challenges or sense a similar potential for enrichment. Your tip could be the support or motivation they need.

Disclaimer: We provide these tips because some people find them useful, but neither sheTIME nor the testers make any warranties as to the reliability of this information or its suitability for you. Please take responsibility for your own body and take sensible precautions before following any health advice, including consulting your own medical practitioner where appropriate.

Hi jenn, it’s great to have you stop by. We’ll look forward to hearing more from you and your friends and we also encourage you all to consider whether you have some advice to share on Tips, or perhaps some feminine cycle-related stories on Chronicles, or some creative work on Creativity, etc. The more people talk about and respond to the cycle, the more acceptable it will become to do so…
